I'm Harry. Between building things and reading markets, I write down only what is worth keeping.
I'm an application software developer. I've been building personal apps outside of work for about eight years. The goal is the same as it was then: to raise personal apps from an amateur hobby to a professional standard.
Mikoshi is the name of the storage where consciousness is uploaded and kept in Cyberpunk 2077. Just as Niklas Luhmann treated his zettelkasten like a second personality, I see my notes as a device that stores me. Hence Mikoshi.
The vault and the blog are run separately. Ideas still growing stay in the vault; only pieces mature enough to be read by others move here. Mostly notes on markets, macroeconomics and corporate finance, occasionally on development and note-taking.
I built this site myself, too. Obsidian Publish was slow, so I wrote a website that reads the vault directly and run it on a server at home. Git for the code, CI for builds, and the secrets store all live inside my homelab. I prefer standing something up myself before using a service someone else made.
Posts on this blog are personal notes and opinions, not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Investment decisions and their outcomes are the sole responsibility of the investor. The author may hold positions in the securities discussed.
